Council Municipal Airport     

The Council Airport is owned by the City of Council.
The runway is 3,600 feet long by 60 feet wide and has a paved surface
with paved parking apron. Tiedowns, runway lighting, rotating beacon,
telephone, maintenance, hangars, and self service fuel
by credit card are available. Food and lodging is available in Council.
The facility is maintained all year. Uses include recreational flying,
sightseeing, training, business, and Life Flight services.

Attendance:
Not attended, phone on field for local, Flight Service, and toll-free calls.
The wind indicator lights, runway lights, and beacon are fully operational .
Lights: Pilot controlled, press mic button 3 times on 122.80.

Airport Services:
Fuel available: 100LL - credit card self fueling, $4.02/gal.

Runway Information:
Dimensions: 3600 x 60 feet
Surface: all paved surfaces have a new preservation coat with
new markings as of this fall.(2007)
Runway edge lights: low intensity, pilot controlled.
Markings condition: good for both.
